How do I put in colored contact lenses?

Wash and dry your hands. Put the lens on your fingertip and check it is not inside out: it should look like a small bowl. Look up, gently pull down your lower eyelid, place the lens on your eye and blink slowly. To take it out, look up, slide the lens down and gently pinch it out.

Are colored contact lenses safe?

Yes, if you wear them the right way: wash and dry your hands first, never share lenses, never sleep or swim in them, and follow the care instructions on the box. If your eyes get red, painful or blurry, take the lenses out and see an eye doctor. New to lenses? Get an eye check-up first.
